At Soma Craft Cidery, we believe in the beauty of simple things done with care. Set on a small family-run farm in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, Soma is home to a working orchard, cidery, alpacas, and a welcoming tasting room. Every bottle we craft begins with apples grown on our land, pressed on-site, and shared with friends both old and new. Rooted in tradition and fueled by connection, we invite you to slow down, savour the moment, and taste the orchard in every pour.

Our History

Soma started with a simple dream — to bring life back to an old piece of land and create something meaningful with our own hands. Once cleared by horses, the orchard was tilled and planted in 2016, with our first harvest and cider release following in 2018.

What began as a family project has grown into a small, thriving cidery rooted in community, creativity, and care. Every cider we make is pressed from apples grown on our land, crafted on-site, and shared with intention.

Over the years, Soma has become more than just a cidery. It’s home to a cozy tasting room, a seasonal lounge and patio, a boutique farm inn, and most recently, Ricardo’s Kitchen — offering a taste of Mediterranean-inspired dishes alongside our cider. The orchard is also shared with a few friendly alpacas and plenty of space to explore, relax, and connect.

From the beginning, Soma has been about more than cider — it’s about slowing down, savouring the moment, and building something lasting with the people around us. We’re so glad you’re here.
